Reclaim is an action-packed endless shooter game where you pilot an unstoppable gunship on your mission to strike at the heart of evil robot oppressors.

History

Reclaim in a few sentences

Reclaim takes place on Aurus, a colonized planet now overrun with oppressive robots seeking to erase the last traces of humans on its surface. The player commands a gunship capable of moving at great speeds and equipped with powerful weapons. Avoiding obstacles, defeating enemy robots trying to stop the player and collecting valuable resources are all critical for success. Collected resources can be invested in gunship upgrades, purchase of time limited boosts or bio-reconstruction of the crew so the player can go on playing after her gunship is destroyed.

The idea behind Reclaim

no-pact had a clear goal with the design of Reclaim: to create an intense, action-packed experience for seasoned players who want to play challenging, sci-fi themed action games on mobile and can't find anything to their liking on the App Store.

How Reclaim was developed

Reclaim started as a gyro-controlled 3D endless tunnel flight prototype where the player avoided randomly flying debris. As prototypes progressed, the game came closer and closer to the final stage both in gameplay and visuals. The final version featured an endless road network with obstacles scattered throughout, deadly robotic enemies trying to stop the player at every turn, and valuable collectible resources critical to human survival in the game.

Experiments in virtual reality

no-pact is deeply interested in virtual reality. Reclaim also features a desktop prototype supporting the Oculus Rift.
